WINNIE

Hi! My Name Is WINNIE

I'm Available

Winnie is a beautiful young girl with a gentle heart and a deep love for her people—especially when it’s time to settle in for the night. She forms a strong, loyal bond with her human and is happiest curled up close, soaking in all the love she can get. With her incredibly soft fur, sweet nature, and love of belly rubs, Winnie is a total cuddlebug who also takes treats with the gentlest manners.

She’s playful and social, doing well with other dogs and enjoying her time at doggy daycare, where she’s known for being friendly and engaging. Winnie especially loves playing with other dogs through the fence and would likely do well in a home with another dog—as long as she gets to be the “head dog” first, with a puppy or easygoing companion joining later. She also loves water and would be thrilled with a pool where she can splash and play.

Winnie is wonderfully affectionate with people, including children and babies, and has a curious, “nosey” side that keeps her involved in everything going on around her. She may bark when she sees other dogs or unfamiliar people like delivery drivers, but it’s simply her way of saying hello. She’s not aggressive—just expressive.

She’s still working on her leash skills and would benefit from continued training, but she’s a smart, eager girl who will thrive with patience and consistency. A yard would be ideal for her to run, play, and explore.

Winnie originally came to the rescue as a young puppy and, despite a change in her previous home, has remained incredibly loving and resilient. She’s ready to find a forever family who will cherish her for the loyal, affectionate companion she is.

🏡 The Ideal Furever Home

Winnie would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people and included in daily life—she truly loves being part of the family. A home with a yard would be ideal, especially one where she can play, explore, or even enjoy a little splash time. She can live with other dogs but would do best being the established “top dog” first, with a respectful or younger companion joining later. Winnie would do wonderfully with a family that appreciates both her playful side and her deep love for snuggling, and who is willing to continue helping her build confidence on leash.
