Hi my name is Yam also affectionately called Yammy or Yammers. I am one the Thanksgiving pups! My foster family thinks I will make someone the perfect valentine as I am one affectionate guy that loves to give kisses, snuggle, and occasionally nibble on your ears. I rock the colors blue and hunter green. I have a shoe and blanket fetish. I love to run and play outside with my siblings but also enjoy chewing and playing with my toys while lounging on the floor. I am progressing nicely with my puppy training. I know sit and keep my kennel dry at night. Just like many guys I am definitely food motivated. I want a family who knows lots about dog ownership and a big fenced yard I can freely run & play in. If you are looking for that all-around perfect guy for Valentine’s Day choose me and let me steal your heart! Yam is a small Retriever mix, weighs 24 lbs (but growing!) and was born 10-13-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
