Hi there I'm Yeti, and I am a very handsome boy. I know a few commands and all I want to do is please you. I can be a little bit of a picky eater, I like Purina pro plan large breed, I have also tried Diamond high energy and I like that too. I am going to make a family very happy because I am such a good boy. I do not like the crate so I hope to be in a home where I won't be kenneled. At night time I sleep with my foster mom and her other pups, and sometimes I don’t realize how big I am when I jump in the bed so watch your head! I get along great with my three adult foster dog siblings and we fostered a puppy who I loved! I need a 6 ft or taller fenced yard as I can sail over a 4-5 ft fence like a gazelle. I've been bounced around a lot in my young life, so I will need a patient & committed adopter who will give me the time I need to decompress and adjust to a brand new life. Please don't expect me (or any newly adopted pet) to adjust overnight. I PROMISE I will be worth it, I just need compassion to overcome any anxiety I have when getting somewhere new. It's a miracle I'm here in Nebraska looking for my forever home as I was almost euthanized in Texas due to no fault of my own, there was just no room in the shelter for everyone. Yeti is a Husky/White German Shepherd mix, weighs 68 lbs and was born approximately 7-4-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
