ZIP

Zip is such a lovable, adventurous, smart and curious boy! He is looking for a home where he has an opportunity for lots of new adventures. Another dog playmate would be a good match for him as he enjoys the company of other dogs--if they are game to play, he is too! He is working on potty training and doing very well with that. Zip is doing great with his leash skills and is showing us what a good boy he is. He loves greeting new people & is a social butterfly. He would love a family that has multiple people to play and work with him, but could be perfectly fine being with an individual or couple who is wanting to walk/run him, play with him, and allow him to do lots of exploring. Zip is a great candidate for some organized puppy training classes to keep that inquisitive mind challenged—classes are a great opportunity for a dog and owner to learn together and practice at home. While a fenced yard is not required, we would highly encourage one as Zip does love sniffing and running around the yard and enjoying outdoor play time. If you’re looking for a bundle of fun, Zip may be just the fit. Zip is a Weimeraner/Hound mix, weighs 55 pounds and was born approximately 01/16/2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
