Hi my name is Chicken. I might not be a traditional chicken, but I am a pretty extraordinary cat! You might notice right away that I only have three legs. I was hit by a car and had to have it amputated. But I don’t let it get me down! I maneuver around just fine as a tri-pawed kitty. I will require some special accommodations in my forever home though. I need a low entry litter box and my food needs to be on the floor. But if the litter box is within my reach, I will use it perfectly! My remaining rear leg isn’t very strong yet (it’s likely to get better as I continue to heal) and I can’t jump very high. I can still get up on most things, but I use my claws to help pull me up. This means that even though I don’t directly scratch on things I shouldn’t, my forever family will need to understand that I might scratch something as I climb up on the bed or couch to see them. Speaking of which, I am a super social lover and I am passionate about getting pets and rubs! If I could spend my whole life on a bed with my family, I would be the happiest kitty in the world! I want to be near my people constantly, but other animals I am a little more hesitant about. I’ve done very well with the dog in my foster home, but I’m more picky about my feline companions. With slow introductions and a little patience, I would be more than fine living with other cats! I do also have a little bit of a passion for human food too (my foster mom doesn’t know why because she’s never given me any on purpose) and if I can get to it, I am likely to try to take it from you. This is one of the reasons it might be better if there weren’t small humans in my forever home. I am one extremely beautiful and incredibly unique kitty! I have the softest fur and sweetest purr. I have adorable crystal blue crossed eyes, and perfect pink toe beans. It might take a special family to understand my needs and give me the perfect home, but I promise if you choose me, I will fill your life with laughs and love! Chicken is a male flame point Siamese, weighs 7  lbs and was born approximately 3-15-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed.
