Hello! My name is Gingersnap, and I am a rare little ginger tabby girl kitten. I came from a crowded city shelter in Oklahoma where I was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter and my time was almost up. Now I'm in the care of Dolly's Legacy and living the good life here in Nebraska! Because I had such a rough start in life, I am very shy and take a while to warm up and trust new people. It has taken a lot of love an patience from my foster mama, but I am starting to come around and realize that pets and loves are really wonderful! I do still give my foster mom the stink eye sometimes, but she thinks that is because I am a sassy girl and not because I'm fearful! I do love my brother Snickerdoodle and get a lot of comfort and confidence from him. Because of that we are looking for our forever home together! We love to play and cuddle together, and are never one without the other. I am litterbox trained and haven't used my claws anywhere I shouldn't. I will require a lot of patience and understanding from my forever family because transitions are hard my brother and I will need a lot of time to warm up and feel comfortable. But if you are willing to wait for us to open up, you will have two gorgeous, sweet little kitties who are so grateful for a loving home!
