Hi, my name is Gretchen! When I came to Dolly’s Legacy I did have all four of my paws, but one of them was unusable and pinned up by my chest. They helped me feel so much better and I’m learning to live life as a tripod kitty. It doesn’t slow me down one bit though! I move around and navigate the world almost completely normally. I’ll just need to not have to jump too high to get to my food or litter box. Otherwise, I need no special accommodations! I am incredibly affectionate and love human company. I want to be where you are, right up with you cuddling at all times! I am also very vocal, so if you’re up for a conversation, I’d love to chat with you. I’m a little bit older and I’ve had a hard life, but I am well mannered in the litter box, am tolerant of all other cats and dogs who are nice to me, and want nothing more than to spend the rest of my days curled up on your lap!
Gretchen came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to her injury and limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.
