LUCY

Hi, Lucy here. I am a beautiful (if I may say so myself) long hair calico with pretty green eyes. My foster Mom is taking care of me and my sister Lynette. Lynette and I have made each other feel safe during some really scary times the last several months and we are super close so we just have to be adopted together. We can usually be found snuggling with each other in our bed or on the cat tree that our foster Mom has in our room. We love watching the birds and squirrels play outside our window. Lynette and I can't talk to tell our story, but my foster Mom says she can tell we have probably never been treated very well by humans. She says she is really proud of us because we have made so much progress and are really starting to trust and feel safe. We used to run when we saw her, but now Lynette and I both love to be petted and rubbed and sometimes come running for pets. I especially love being scratched behind my ears and foster mom tells me I am a real purr machine. My foster mom laughs because when I meow it sounds more like a chirp, but boy do I have a loud purr. I am learning that playing is really fun and I have a motion toy with a mouse that moves in circles that I LOVE playing with. Mom tells me it is really cute to watch me play. There are three cats and two dogs in my foster home and I am ok with all of them. The only thing is it makes it hard to compete for the lap time that I am really craving. Sometimes the doggos like to act all tough and mean but they don't phase me. I just look at them and don't even waste my time hissing. They are silly floofs. I also have very good litter box manners. We really love our foster mom but sure do want our very own family where we can spend the rest of our lives. Will you please be that family? WE BOTH THINK THAT WOULD BE A GREAT EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!
