I'm a sleek, mysterious, raven-black feline who might, once upon a midnight dreary, come knocking on your chamber door. Just kidding! Although I may be named after the famous author known for his creepy stories (including one about a black cat!), I'm actually a friendly fellow looking for my forever home. I'm a little shy at first, but after I get to know you, I want to hang out wherever you are and I enjoy pets.  I'm a champion purr-er. I'm polite, I come when called (especially if you're offering me food!), and I have impeccable litterbox manners. I have been around dogs before and I'm fine with the resident cats in my foster home.  Poe is a 3 yr old male Bombay. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV & FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $100 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
