My foster mom says it’s probably time that the world gets to know me; she says I’m just pretty darn special, but I don’t see what the big deal is. Actually, I don’t see much at all… But here’s my story cuz my Mom says I have to share my story and life… to give humans hope and comfort in accepting their disabilities and fears too. I can’t tell you a lot about my kittenhood. Things were “traumatic”, Mom says, so because of all the confusion I don’t remember a lot. My doctor thinks I had a bad infection that ended up taking my eyesight. A nice lady saved me when I was nameless, homeless, sightless, hungry, and just following the railroad tracks trying to find help. They gave me the name Radar because they think I get around like I can see, as if I were sending out little waves to guide me. Nah. The only thing I’m sending out is love because I have so much to share! Guess you could say I have medium-length white hair. It’s all curly on my tummy so Mom’s always trying to pet it and tickle me. She says I’m her perfectly toasted marshmallow cuz I have a little tan on my ears and tail. I have one ear that’s a little wonky but it suits me puuurrrfectly. Mom says it gives me character and sass, as if I needed any more! I’m still a kitten and learning a lot! Mom has to help me clean my eyes every couple of days cuz I just don’t have that part down yet. But let me tell you, I am a litter box champ! Sometimes I get in trouble cuz I think it’s funny to play in the box when Mom is trying to clean it. She doesn’t appreciate my sense of humor on that one. I love kitty condos and go clear to the top! I’ve just learned to adapt – I just come back down backwards since I can’t see where to jump down! I love to cuddle, when it’s cuddle time, and I purr really loud to show how content I am; however, since I’m still a kitten, I love to be busy with toys and exploring. I LOVE my foster cat brother Charlie. We play together all the time! I have three foster cat sisters too, but they get all hissy with me so we don’t really play. I don’t care. Girls have cooties anyway. I have a foster brother dog and we play together too. I have a great family! But… I’m looking for my own special family that will adopt me and will keep me furever! To pick me out because they know I’m the one to bring my unique joy to their lives. Don’t get me wrong – I love my foster family. But I know how this foster thing works. My family helps rescue animals one at a time. It’s really hard for them to let each one go, but they have to let them go in order to be able to help another. I get it! I am a happy, easy going, well-mannered loving boy just waiting to fill your arms and heart full of love! Radar is a medium hair white kitten with some orange accents who was born approximately 7/1/2019 and weighs 8 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee is $100 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
