Like any cat worth the name (and unlike those predictable dogs – bah!), I am a bit of a mystery. I am shy when I first meet people, but once I get comfortable with someone (which doesn’t take too long), I'm VERY affectionate. I will snuggle up on your lap while you watch TV, next to you (or on you) in bed, or really anywhere! But, I set the rules. I decide when it’s time for pets and when it’s time to stop, and I’ll let you know if I’m not in the mood. I dream of a home where I'm an only pet with calm, quiet adult(s) to hang out with who will let me claim their lap or give me cuddles when I ask but respect me when I say I’m done. I can share my home with another cat if I have to (an easygoing, low energy male cat would be best), but no dogs or children. I get jealous when another feline (or that nasty laptop) gets attention instead of me. I have SO MUCH love to give to a human; I just need one who will let me be queen of the house. I have purr-fect litterbox and eating manners. Roz landed in a crowded city shelter in Kansas after her owner died. She was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & her time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.  Roz is an Orange Tabby born approximately 1-23-15. She is spayed, vaccinated, had full dentals, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee has been sponsored for our "Home for the Holidays" promotion! We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
