Hi there, my name is Sapphire and I am just about the sweetest little kitty that has ever lived! I was in a shelter in Kansas and scheduled to be euthanized only because I had a bad cold. But Dolly’s legacy saw me and knew they could help. I do look a little silly, but I had some trauma to my face when I was very young, but it doesn’t cause me pain and I think it makes me extra special! I’ve had a hard life, but now that I’m safe and feeling better, I am so eager to show everyone how grateful I am for their help! I want to love and be loved SO bad. I am not terribly outgoing and can be a little hesitant, but I learn to trust quickly and once I’m purring, you know you have my approval! I have really liked all of the kitty friends in my foster home, and I do pretty well with the dogs, but I am so sweet that I don’t fight back and tell them their rough play is too much for me, so if there is a dog friend in my forever home they would need to be very sweet for me! I am learning that toys are really fun and I’m doing well scratching on what I’m supposed to with some gentle correction. I don’t have an aggressive or mean bone in my entire body and if I could spend all my days in a fluffy warm cat bed and my nights on your lap, I would be the happiest girl in the world! Sapphire is a Russian Blue female (not guaranteed to be a purebred so do not expect to be hypoallergenic), weighs 7 lbs and was born approximately 2-22-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $100 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
