Sheldon and his sister Amy were adopted through Dolly’s Legacy as young kitties and returned after their previous owner could no longer care for them. Because of the upheaval he has experienced, Sheldon is sometimes nervous and a little slower to trust. Despite that, he is a very sweet boy without a mean bone in his body, who loves chin, ear, and butt scratches! His favorite thing is curling up and taking a nap in the sun, but once he’s rested up, he loves any toy with catnip! His sister Amy is his favorite playmate and best friend, and he is seeking her forever home together with her! Both kitties have perfect litterbox manners and are excellent on scratching in the appropriate places. Amy and Sheldon would do best in a peaceful home without young children or large dogs. They are nervous around the dogs in their foster home, but could likely easily co-exist with a very calm, sweet dog or two. Sheldon is a Brown Tabby/Domestic Shorthair mix who was born approximately 12-1-21. He is nutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $125 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. Adopting a bonded pair, the second fee is waived. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
