Hi there! My name is Mary and I am just the sweetest pup you will ever get the chance to meet. I love to be right next to my humans and will follow you around everywhere you go. I get along well with other dogs both big and small. I may be a little shy when meeting other dogs at first but after I get the chance to meet them more I love to run around and play with them. I haven’t had a single accident in my foster home or overnight in my kennel. I like to think of my kennel as my safe space. I love having it open so I can go in there as I please. That’s where I like to eat my food. Most the time you will catch me taking some Z’s on the couch. I also sleep throughout the night without making a peep. Now that it’s starting to get colder out I love to wear sweaters to keep me warm. My favorite things to do in my foster home is to zoom around the yard and chase all the crickets I can catch. So far I haven’t been quick enough to catch any. I do this cute thing when your about to give me treats. I like to try and stand on my back legs with my two front paws in the air. I get so excited for treats I just start to almost dance. I would love to find a home where I have a yard to run around in as my nose loves to explore. I would also enjoy a cuddle buddy on the cold & rainy days. I promise to give you endless amounts of kisses when we meet! Mary & her sister, Ann, came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & their time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now they are each ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Mary is a growing Rat Terrier/mix pup who was born approximately 5-17-21. She weighed 10.8 lbs on 9-27-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs for the animals in our care. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
