Hello, my name is Brave! I'm a handsome pup who is very food-motivated (treats?? did you say treats?!?). I'm really smart even at my young age & already know a few commands like ‘come’ and ‘sit’ after just a few days of training. I'm crate-trained at night and while my fosters parents leave me alone during the day. I'm still a pup with developing teeth that are really sharp, and I don't always know what does or doesn't belong in my mouth, so it would be best if I wasn't placed with young kids who don't appreciate my shark impressions. I love to romp & play outdoors so I'd really love it if I could have a home with a big, fenced yard. That way I can chase squirrels and sniff out all the smells. I would be an awesome adventure-seeking partner. Hiking, camping, or any kind of exploring would make me one happy pup! I hail from Texas (don't hold that against me) where I was abandoned as a pup and landed in a scary shelter where it was so crowded. I wasn't sure I would make it out of there, so many dogs & kitties crying out for help. I'm so thankful I was chosen to come to Dolly's Legacy. Now I'm ready for the next chapter in my life by finding my furever person or family. 

Brave is a growing male Chocolate Labrador Retriever/mix who was born approximately 8-20-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
