Annie is lean, tall, long and has a loving and playful personality – a classic “the tail wags the dog” kind of pup. She likes to lay on rugs, on beds, and loves to run – she’s not good at fetch but is great at chasing the two resident dogs as they are fetching! There isn’t a human she isn’t excited to see, sometimes a bit too much and tinkles. We are working on this. She's had no accidents at night and is training to ring the bell on the door handle when she has to go. Throughout the day with foster mom working at home, she wanders a little, but mostly just cuddles on the rug. Annie has done well with the older, larger dogs in her foster home but sometimes nips at them to do as she wants (but they're not having it!).
All in all, she is a fantastic dog who needs lots of play time and puppy training. She is the sweetest and would make a family with older kids or even a single person the absolute best companion.
Annie is an English Setter/Border Collie mix, weighs 45 lbs and was born 12-10-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
