Hi, I'm Sammie the sweetheart! If you are looking for the perfect pet, I'm your gal! My foster Mom says my previous owners must have loved me lots as I am so well-behaved. I know lots of commands- sit, shake, kiss, kennel, and car rides. I love car rides! Maybe you need a road trip partner?! I also love to go on walks, there are so many new smells in Nebraska! And I don't mind the cold temps one bit! I'm house and kennel trained, but you don't have to kennel me when you're gone cause I'm such a good girl! If you have another dog, it's best if they are cool, calm, & collected like me, I don't much care for the drama and antics of the small, young pups. I tolerate my foster brother(he's a little crazy), but I'd rather just chill out most of the time. I also don't care for cats, I'm a large-boned gal and they're smaller size confuses me and let's be honest, they are kind of shady creatures.  My foster Mom also says I have the best demeanor and would be great with kids because I don't jump or an excellent co-worker. I can't wait for the final fur-ever leg of my journey, will it be with you?

Sammie is a female Golden Retriever mix who weighs 86 lbs and was born approximately 1-25-15. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
