Hi, my name is Papa John, but my foster mama calls me Johnny! I am all puppy and all sweetness. Everything is exciting and new to me so I am happy all the time. My favorite things are exploring outside, playing with toys, and running around with the other dogs in my foster home. They are so nice to me and I love playing and cuddling with them so much! I am also learning good dog manners from them as well. There are cats in my foster home too, and while I would LOVE for them to play, I mostly annoy them so they aren’t too fond of me. But I am a good boy and don’t hurt them, so I could live with a kitty pretty easily I think. My other most favorite activity is snuggling! I run and play until I can’t anymore and then I am so happy and content to curl up with my people and take a nap. I just want to be close and love you at all times! I have loved every person I have met so far and have been told I am very friendly! I don’t love being left alone in my crate overnight because I would much rather be with people, but I have done so well while my foster mom is gone. I’ve also made very good progress on potty training, and while I am in the overly curious stage to puppyhood, as long as I have plenty of toys and your shoes are up off the floor, I won’t do any property damage. If you are looking for a super sweet and happy little guy to join your family, I promise you won’t find a better pup than me!
The "Pizza Pups" came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & puppies are often the first killed due to their vulnerable health. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now they are ready for a new chapter with forever homes.
