I will follow you wherever you go, I'm a bit of a velcro dog. My foster mom thinks I am potty trained now because I have only had one accident in the house. I play so much during the day, I sleep in my kennel through the night already.
I don’t like being in my kennel during the day when my foster parents are working and bark a lot at first. I am great with kids but am learning how to be calm and not jump on them when they get excited. I just get excited, too! I would love to go for a run with someone or long walks. I am doing really well on my leash and even take daily walks with my foster brother. My fur foster sister is smaller than me and she doesn’t understand that I just want to play! I never try to hurt anyone- I just want to have FUN. I would love it if I could go to my furever home that has a big yard where I can romp, chase squirrels in big trees, and be free to play without being leashed. An apartment wouldn't be good for me. I'm a Labrador who needs lots of exercise and stimulation. I would love it if I had another dog my size and meets my playful energy so we can puppy chase and be on squirrel patrol as a team. I hail from Oklahoma where someone dumped me in a park and just left me there to fend for myself. I'm hoping Nebraska will bring me the good life!
Elsie is a female silver Labrador Retriever who was born approximately 4-18-21 (estimated based on her growth & teeth). She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $650 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
