Hi there I'm Carter! I am as cute as I am fluffy, and I'm really fluffy! My four siblings got adopted before coming to Nebraska so I made the long trip all by myself to find my perfect forever family. I can be really shy with humans at first so I need a home with another dog or two to show me the ropes and help build my confidence. Being with the other dogs in my foster home has been wonderful! My best friend is a Malamute mix who is fluffy just like me! Also due to my shyness my family needs to have older kids who understand my boundaries until I come out of my shell. Once I feel comfortable I am the sweetest pup and love to give kisses. I am working really hard on my potty training and am doing better every day! My kennel isn't my favorite place to be I may bark for a few minutes because I would rather be out playing with my doggy friends but if I have a toy to play with and the radio on I don't feel so alone. I'm also learning how fun being a puppy is running around the back yard and playing with toys all day. If you think we are the perfect match please put in an application for me!
Carter came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Carter is a growing Great Pyrenees/mix pup who was born approximately 6-28-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
