Hello! My name is Fluffety and I came into the rescue because my owner passed away. I'm used to being around a lot of dogs in my old home but I take awhile to get used to new humans so please be patient with me. I am very sweet once I get used to you and you can pick me up and carry me around but I will sit on your lap when I'm ready. I like to lay on my big comfy dog bed and watch what's going on around me even though I may not be ready to join in yet. I love treats, esp chicken! I would prefer to be in a quieter home with adults so that I can relax. I would really prefer a secure fenced yard too so I can sniff out all the smells at my own pace. An experienced home with toy breeds is necessary and I will need regular grooming for my flowing locks. I am working on potty skills but at my age sometimes I just can't hold it as long as I used to. I am able to get up steps but sometimes I am scared to go down a lot of steps so I may need assistance if my new home comes with a lot of stairs. I can't wait to meet you and go to my furever home.
Fluffety is a Maltese/Chihuahua, weighs 6lbs and was born approximately 05-23-2010. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. He also had a dental procedure to get his teeth nice & clean. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
