Jolynn is a gentle, goofy, playful girl. She loves to follow her humans around the house and yard. Her nose is her guide and she likes to inspect every inch of her surroundings. She is busy investigating after all! She has one of those classic “old souls” and she is the easiest dog to love. Jolynn would love to be a lap dog and your dinner cooking sidekick. She loves all the smells that come from the kitchen when food is being made. She is fully potty trained and leash trained. Although, she may need some guidance from her forever family to curb her squirrel hunting habit. She loves to be on squirrel patrol! Since she is so scent driven, she could easily follow a scent and get lost, so Jolynn will need a sturdy fenced in yard. Her foster family doesn’t have kids, but Jolynn seems to be happy to greet just about everyone. She would be a great companion for a dog that is fairly calm like her. Calm families would be ideal for her since she likes to take lots of naps. She is not very comfortable with extremely energetic dogs or dogs that are highly assertive. She has become a toy thief and likes to hide her favorite toys in her bed. Her favorite toys are squeak toys, especially if they look like animals. She also really loves chew bones and rope toys. Jolynn would be the sweetest addition to a loving and calm home. She is a true joy! Jolynn came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & her time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Jolynn is a female Bloodhound, weighs 80 lbs and was born approximately 8-25-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
