JOY

Hello I'm Joy! I am a spunky and sweet girl with so much energy burn, I just love to play all day! My sister Jovie and I could romp around in the backyard all day and then I like to come inside and snuggle. I get along well with other dogs but I am a herding breed and like to herd them around the yard like it's my job. I have not met any cats yet, I'm sure I would do fine but may try to herd them too. I'm working hard on my potty training and am learning more and more every day. I am also learning about kennel training, I will usually go in for a treats but then realize it's not as much fun inside the kennel as it is outside of it and so I will bark for a few minutes to let you know I'm not too impressed with the situation and then quiet down and nap. My favorite activities are wrestling with my sister, racing around with toys, and getting treats. Don't think you can snack on the couch without me being involved! Due to me being a herding breed, I am looking for an active forever family that can help me burn off all the energy I have. I would love another dog in the house to play with. I require a home with any children to be over 12 because of my herding tendencies. I don't mean anything bad by them, it's just in my nature. Joy is a growing Border Collie pup who was born approximately 5-19-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
