Hello! My name is Penelope and I am a sweet and loveable girl who would love to curl up and cuddle on your lap if you would let me! I love to run around the yard and play, but my favorite thing is to be with my people or nap with my doggie sisters. I am working on potty training and I haven’t had any accidents, but I am still working on keeping that record because I am so young! I haven’t met any kids yet, but I would love to, especially if they will cuddle too! I have been learning about walking on a leash, but I am just not too comfortable yet and if you would work with me by taking me on walks, I would get the hang of it in no time!
Penelope & her sister, Peyton, came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & their time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now are each ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Penelope is a growing Black Mouth Cur/mix pup who was born approximately 7-1-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs for the animals in our care. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
