ROSE

Hi! My Name Is ROSE

We're happy to tell you that ROSE has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Rose is the sweetest little soul and looks like a little fox. She has quite a sad story in that she was found in a home, locked in a crate, with her owner having been deceased for several days. Rose had urine burns on her feet and belly and had no access to food or water as she was secured in the crate. Authorities rendered her over to a crowded city shelter in Texas, where there are more than 1100 dogs in that single shelter. Imagine her trauma, being locked up, her owner dying inside the home, and then found herself in the chaos of a massively crowded animal control facility. This poor darling dog has some healing to do. We are here to provide that for her, and help her start a new chapter in her life.
Rose is very loving and loves getting attention and affection. She sleeps and hangs out in her dog beds and seems very comfortable having her very own little spaces. She is good with other dogs, she does very well on the leash, she is housebroken and uses the doggie door. She practically does her business on command when put outside before bed, and first thing in the morning. She is nervous about riding in the car. Rose hears everything and is a bit of a “watch dog.” Even more than most dogs, she explores everything with her nose, outside and inside. It took her a couple of weeks to begin to play with toys and actually play with the other two small dogs, but her personality is really starting to emerge. We truly hope Rose finds a loving forever home, because she deserves it.

Rose is a female Papillon/mix who weighs 15 lbs and was born approximately 1-3-14. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. She underwent surgery to repair a cherry eye on her left eye and is healing well. Adoption fee is $375 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
