Hello- my name is Sadie. I love to play and be around my people. I can be a little shy at first with new people but it doesn’t last long. Did I mention playing? I love to run and play and would love a friend to run and play with. Tennis balls and squeakers? Those are the best toys ever! I really need a fenced yard so I can run around and explore. I have great indoor manners and am fully housebroken. I am kennel trained and don’t make a peep in the kennel though I would much rather be near you. As long as I have my own toys I don’t bother things that aren’t mine. I am a little unsure about younger kids because sometimes they can be loud and unpredictable, so I would do best with kids over 10. I do great with the cats in my home and have enjoyed playing with all the dogs I have met so far. I walk pretty well on a leash and love going for walks and being outside. Sadie came from a rural shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.
Sadie is a female Black Mouth Cur/mix who weighs 36 lbs and was born approximately 11-8-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
