**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION APPROXIMATELY 12-15-21 following completion of heartworm treatment** Hi, I'm Tessa and boy have I been through a lot in the last 6 months. I had a litter of 8 (count them 8!) puppies and then I was diagnosed with heartworm. But things are looking up! My puppies don't need me anymore and Dolly's is giving me the heartworm treatment that I need so that I can run and play like any other 1.5 year old puppy. I am so ready to be a REAL dog again - I want to romp and play and be given lots of love. My foster Mom says that I am the sweetest and gentlest of dogs. I can cuddle with you on the couch and watch tv, or I can have the zoomies and run all over the backyard. Tessa is a Black Mouth Cur/Labrador mix, weighs 45 lbs, and was born approximately 8-18-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Tessa was given life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
